Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager Med Surg Medical Nights

AdventHealth Florida is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Assistant Nurse Manager for our Med Surg department. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour night shift schedule.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RN to join our team as an Assistant Nurse Manager. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of hospital acute care RN nursing experience and one year of prior leadership experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of one year hospital acute care RN nursing experience and one year prior leadership experience.
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
  • Current valid Florida State Board of Nursing Registered Professional Nurse license.
