Lead Regional Sales Manager Role for Avaline in Florida

Avaline is seeking a skilled and results-driven Lead Regional Sales Manager to oversee the sales of its wine portfolio in Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, extensive knowledge of the wine industry, and excellent leadership skills.

About the Role

This position offers an estimated salary of $80-110K per year, plus bonus and equity opportunities. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow Avaline's wine portfolio in the assigned territory and channels
  • Track depletions and oversee the execution of sales programs
  • Conduct fieldwork by visiting key accounts across different channels
  • Collaborate with Sales Director and Distributor Partners to create and execute market plans that hit goals
  • Ensure Distributor Partners adhere to brand standards
  • Build strong relationships with top key accounts, both on-premise and off-premise
  • Support national account execution at the regional level
  • Expand portfolio distribution by presenting new SKUs and brands
  • Launch and introduce new wines in the market
  • Analyze sales data using iDig, eRNDC/Microstrategy, and internal dashboards to optimize performance
  • Maintain communication with chain execution leads across the territory
  • Lead events and market activities alongside our in-house team and agency partners
Requirements
  • Strong business sense with a focus on sales analysis
  • Extensive wine knowledge—WSET and CMS certifications are a plus
  • A track record of delivering top-notch work

  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organized, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities
Qualifications
  • Experience in wholesale supply chain management, including building relationships, launching products, and growing sales while managing profitability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • 5+ years of experience in the wine or spirits industry
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Existing business relationships in the FL market are a must; experience working with RNDC is a plus
