Position Overview:
The Licensed Mammography Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional mammography and diagnostic imaging services with precision and efficiency.

This role is integral to the operational framework at Mass General Brigham, ensuring adherence to established policies and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct high-quality mammography and diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor of Mammography to maintain departmental standards.
  • Uphold organizational policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Radiology or equivalent certification is mandatory.
  • Must possess licensure in Massachusetts as a Registered Radiologic Technologist in Mammography.
  • ARRT certification as a Mammography Technologist is essential; ongoing education credits must fulfill State and Registry licensing standards.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in diagnostic radiology, with comprehensive knowledge of all diagnostic procedures and radiographic equipment.
  • Capability to perform the responsibilities of a Radiologic Technologist as scheduling permits.
