Job Summary and Qualifications
We are looking for an MRI Technologist to ensure that we maintain high-quality, efficient care for all patients. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for conducting all patient imaging procedures while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional service that reflects the mission and values of CMC.
  2. Ensure order accuracy by proactively checking patient orders.
  3. Communicate with patients prior to their study to address any questions and explain the procedure.
  4. Verify patient identity and explain the imaging process to alleviate concerns.
  5. Utilize MRI safety screening protocols to assess patients for metallic objects or incompatible medical devices.
  6. Maintain accurate records in Meditech and PACS.
  7. Conduct Quality Assurance checks on equipment and procedures.
  8. Adhere to all regulatory compliance standards.

Qualifications:
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required within 30 days of employment. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment.
