Shields Health Care Group is seeking a highly skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure patient safety and well-being by following all proper policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their understanding of the exam process.
- Position patients accurately and ensure their comfort during exams.
- Perform scans in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Administer intravenous contrast as needed.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation.
- Record patient data accurately and efficiently.
- Provide and issue films/CDs as required.
- Forward data and films/CDs to radiologists for review.
- Assist clerical staff as needed.
- Clean and maintain equipment and rooms.
- Adhere to all necessary training and licensing requirements.
- Prior MRI scanning experience is required.
- MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications are necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to assist patients with mobility difficulties.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.
