Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Meat Department Associate to join our team. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our meat products are properly wrapped, weighed, and priced. You will also provide exceptional customer service, maintain a clean and organized department, and perform other related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service to internal and external customers.
  • Meat Preparation: Wrap, weigh, and price meat products accurately and efficiently.
  • Department Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized department, including the cutting room and retail cases.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure proper inventory levels and rotation of products.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate wrapping machines, scales, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Customer Focus: Consistently provide friendly, courteous service to internal and external customers.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and move rapidly, as well as lift and maneuver objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills, including the ability to read and follow written work assignments and instructions.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals.
