Position Overview: Under the supervision of the Department Director and Radiology Manager, and in collaboration with radiologists, the Radiologic Technologist I is responsible for executing technical diagnostic imaging procedures and associated tasks in accordance with departmental standards for a diverse patient demographic, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. This role also entails serving as a customer service representative for patients, their families, the public, and medical personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Engage in quality control and contribute to organizational enhancement initiatives.
  • Participate in the on-call schedule to fulfill departmental staffing requirements.
  • Travel to off-site locations as necessary to perform radiographic or fluoroscopic procedures.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Completion of a radiologic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
  • Licensure: California Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire.
  • Certification: National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • CPR Certification: National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working as a radiologic technologist in a hospital setting.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess all necessary licenses and certifications, along with a minimum of one year of experience as a hospital-based radiologic technologist.
