Production Supervision Manager

The Production Supervision Manager will oversee daily operations at the site to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. This role requires a strong foundation of functional skills and knowledge of relevant technologies and theoretical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage front-line manufacturing hourly employees.
- Develop and guide hourly employees, leading by example.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and integrate own area(s) with others; aware of competition and market factors.
- Develop new solutions under guidance or in a team setting.
- Communicate project approach and present outcomes of research.
- Collaborate with business leadership and work on cross-functional teams.
- Apply general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience.
- Resolve issues using established procedures and policies.
- Partner with direct Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions.
- Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between the customer and GE.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 7 years of experience in manufacturing)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
