Job Summary

The Production Supervision Manager will oversee daily operations at the site to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. This role requires a strong foundation of functional skills and knowledge of relevant technologies and theoretical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage front-line manufacturing hourly employees.
  • Develop and guide hourly employees, leading by example.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices and integrate own area(s) with others; aware of competition and market factors.
  • Develop new solutions under guidance or in a team setting.
  • Communicate project approach and present outcomes of research.
  • Collaborate with business leadership and work on cross-functional teams.
  • Apply general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience.
  • Resolve issues using established procedures and policies.
  • Partner with direct Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions.
  • Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between the customer and GE.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 7 years of experience in manufacturing)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing
