Position Summary:

Objective: To deliver technical support across all facets of manufacturing and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, recommend, and implement effective manufacturing processes.
  • Support the design and production of tooling, fixtures, and specialized equipment.
  • Engage in problem-solving initiatives with a focus on follow-up and resolution.
  • Assist in the setup of machinery.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize shop floor layouts for efficient workflow.
  • Continuously strive to minimize setup times, scrap rates, and rework efforts.
  • Contribute to the reorganization of tool storage areas.
  • Create manufacturing routings for new component parts.
  • Revise manufacturing routings following the release of engineering documentation.
  • Implement quality systems to fulfill strategic objectives.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
Authority and Leadership:
  • Lead the development of engineering prototype units for production.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Communicate the Quality Policy and Practices to all staff.
  • Hold the authority and responsibility to complete assigned duties.
Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 years in mechanical or industrial technology or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Three years of experience in technical roles within manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in CNC-oriented manufacturing processes.
