Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a **Principal Engineer/Senior Principal Engineer** with extensive experience in the field of civil and environmental engineering. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in various water, wastewater, and stormwater initiatives, encompassing treatment, pumping, conveyance, and transmission systems.

In this capacity, you will oversee and contribute to the planning and design of municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass project management, preparation of reports, execution of design calculations, selection of equipment, development of construction documents, and provision of construction support. This role also presents opportunities to cultivate client relationships and engage in comprehensive project management activities.

Essential qualifications and skills for this position include:

  • Demonstrated experience in the planning, design, and construction of water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities
  • Proficiency in standard software applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and ArcGIS is advantageous
  • Experience in project management is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented and self-driven
  • Exceptional organizational skills

To qualify, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, with a Master's degree preferred. A current Professional Engineer (PE) license and the capability to secure a Florida P.E. license within six months are mandatory.
