Job Title: Helpdesk Specialist Journeyman/MCP

At AHU Technologies Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Helpdesk Specialist Journeyman/MCP to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical support and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Summary:

The Helpdesk Specialist Journeyman/MCP will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with our IT leadership team to implement cost-effective technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktop operating systems, software applications, and hardware
  • Collaborate with the IT leadership team to implement cost-effective technology solutions
  • Document and track technical issues to ensure timely resolution
  • Provide second-tier support to end-users for PC, server, or mainframe applications or hardware
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in technical support, with a focus on desktop operating systems and software applications
  • Expertise in supporting desktop operating systems (Windows 10, Mac OS X 10.10.X)
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in using endpoint management tools to provide remote support
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft certifications (MCP)
  • Experience managing service requests in ServiceNow or similar ITSM platform
  • Expertise in troubleshooting hardware and software-related issues
  • Ability to demonstrate experience making non-technical users comfortable with complex technology concepts
