About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Affiliate Marketing Manager to lead our North America affiliate marketing program. This role requires a self-starter with a strong analytical, consumer, and technology background, a proven track record of acquiring new customers, and successfully managing and optimizing affiliate and PPI programs to deliver significant growth. The ideal candidate will have considerable market knowledge with experience negotiating partnership opportunities in a business development setting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Be a subject matter expert and act as a close partner and resource to our internal teams to deepen market penetration of our North America affiliate business.
  2. Manage the affiliate budget, including forecasting and opportunity sizing.
  3. Collaborate cross-functionally with the BI team to understand the incrementality of Affiliate channels and adapt strategy to maximize ROI.
  4. Develop and execute affiliate marketing strategies focused on Cost-Per-Action (CPA) and Cost-Per-Install (CPI) campaigns to achieve new user acquisition and revenue goals.
  5. Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with affiliate partners, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies.
  6. Lead external agency relationships and partner with various internal teams, including finance, product, and analytics.
  7. Monitor and optimize CPA and CPI campaigns to maximize ROI, increase conversions, and minimize fraud.
  8. Analyze campaign performance data to derive actionable insights and drive continuous optimization.
  9. Mentor a team of affiliate marketing specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to affiliate marketing and CPA and CPI campaigns.
  11. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including product management, marketing, and finance, to align affiliate marketing strategies with business objectives.
  12. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in affiliate marketing and digital advertising.
Requirements
  1. 7+ years of experience leading partnership/affiliate marketing programs, preferably in subscription services.
  2. 3+ years of experience leading teams, but is not above rolling up their sleeves to assist in execution. They must be comfortable with leading and doing.
  3. Prior in-house and/or agency experience required.
  4. Knowledge of digital integrations, including pixels, Power BI, and API specifications/functionality.
  5. Proficiency in utilizing Impact and CJ for affiliate network management and knowledge of managed networks.
  6. Proven experience onboarding and managing PPI partnerships.
  7. Proven track record of building a business and operating in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Ability to clearly articulate strategy and then execute.
  9. Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
  10. Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  11. Entrepreneurial spirit and mindset, a focus on possibilities and not obstacles.
  12. Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and change.
