About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Category Manager to lead the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-million-dollar construction projects. As a key member of our Global Procurement Organization, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute category sourcing strategies, drive savings and value, and improve productivity across the category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead individual General Contractor (GC) construction category projects, partnering with the team to deliver complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-million-dollar sites.
  • Develop and execute long-term sourcing strategies, support key initiatives with cross-functional teams, and drive the decision-making process of the category roadmap with senior leadership.
  • Build relationships and alignment with internal and external stakeholders to effectively plan and deliver site launches to meet site construction programs, particularly for Prime week and Peak season.
  • Own individual targets and goals identified across the NA GC construction category scope, as well as identifying and delivering incremental process and system improvements.
  • Drive GC sourcing, award, contracting, and ongoing support until project delivery, while maintaining commercial relationships with suppliers, with a principal objective of achieving optimal cost and performance.
  • Support supplier performance management, including improving sustainability and social responsibility.
  • Help develop Key Performance Indicators and set goals for the team.
  • Support the progress of the team to ensure we are meeting customer expectations.
  • Act as a market intelligence provider regarding categories, anticipate strategic opportunities, and keep key stakeholders informed.
About You

You will have a Bachelor's degree and experience building processes, project management, and schedules. You will also have experience in analyzing data to drive decisions, working cross-functionally with non-tech teams, and defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics. Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL is required. Preferred qualifications include PMP and 3+ years of construction cost management experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
