We are seeking a skilled RN Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Los Alamos Medical Center. This full-time position provides nursing leadership for multiple units/areas and assists management with orienting, supervising, and evaluating the performance of the unit staff.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership and be able to ensure adequate coverage on all shifts. They will also be responsible for monitoring staff compliance with facility policies and unit directives, and will assist with chart audits and provide feedback to staff as needed.
This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to maintain a positive and professional attitude, and will be committed to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing leadership for multiple units/areas
- Assist management with orienting, supervising, and evaluating the performance of the unit staff
- Ensure adequate coverage on all shifts
- Monitor staff compliance with facility policies and unit directives
- Assist with chart audits and provide feedback to staff as needed
Requirements:
- Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Current NM RN licensure or appropriate RN Compact licensure
- BLS and ACLS certification upon hire
- PALS/ENPC and NRP certification within six months of hire
