This position offers a $30,000 Sign-on Bonus for a twenty-four-month FT commitment and a housing allowance of $1,000, grossed up, for up twelve months for new hires who relocate.

Job Summary
This position provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The successful candidate will perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
- Document patient care given.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Requirements
- Education: Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Required Skills: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Licenses: Current NM RN license or appropriate compact licensure to start.
- Certifications: BLS upon hire, NRP and ACLS within six months of hire or transfer into position, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Advanced Fetal Monitoring within one year from hire or transfer into position, STABLE Certification preferred.
