We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist - Critical Care to join our team at King's Daughters Medical Center. As a nurse specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and advancing the practice of nursing in critical care settings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing with experience in critical care settings. They will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes.

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, which includes a base pay of $75,000 and an annual bonus of $10,000. In addition to the salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a degree in Registered Nursing (RN)
  • Maintain active RN license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and any other states as applicable
  • Achieve and maintain American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Achieve and maintain American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of start
  • Achieve and maintain AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of start
  • Achieve and maintain Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) certification within 90 days of start
