Key Responsibilities
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of local market trends to identify business development opportunities across all product lines.
- Utilize consultative selling techniques to assist the agency in expanding its client base by selling insurance products to prospective customers.
- Engage in proactive cross-selling and collaborate with agency team members to provide additional coverage options to current clients.
- Generate new business through various channels including leads, phone outreach, networking events, trade shows, and personal connections.
- Achieve new business goals through individual initiative and established lead generation methods.
- Prepare quotes and applications, delivering impactful presentations to successfully close sales.
- Licensing Requirement: Must possess a Property and Casualty license or be willing to obtain one within the first month of employment.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in self-sourced sales with at least 40 transactions in the last 24 months is preferred.
- Ability to operate independently, effectively prioritize tasks, and organize work efficiently.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales and customer service.
- Proficiency in PC software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Internet Explorer.
- Familiarity with a variety of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
