Position Summary:
The ideal candidate for the Director role is deeply enthusiastic about digital advertising and is eager to shape the future of Publicis's approach to digital media procurement in a rapidly evolving market. This individual will lead the creation and implementation of programmatic campaigns across various channels, including Display, Social, Mobile, Native, and Video, within Publicis's internal programmatic media division. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the health and growth of assigned accounts, including the management of programmatic strategies, campaign proposal development, and insightful post-buy analyses.
- Collaborate with Strategy and Activation teams to communicate service offerings and identify innovative solutions in a cooperative manner.
- Develop and implement Testing Roadmaps to enhance client success in Programmatic, with a particular emphasis on acquisition metrics.
- Utilize analytical insights to craft a compelling narrative and vision that informs strategic direction.
- Lead and motivate a team of 4-6 direct reports.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity.
- Support the professional growth of junior team members through regular one-on-one meetings, identifying development opportunities, and acting as a mentor.
- Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions to explore and learn new strategies for optimizing campaign performance.
- Provide executional expertise in the Programmatic landscape, including strategy, negotiation, and technical execution.
- Ensure that team operations and client deliverables align with client objectives and the strategic vision of the business.
- Promote programmatic media buying practices throughout the organization through educational initiatives.
- Adhere to established account management standards and enhance campaign best practices through hands-on experience.
- Maintain accountability for quality assurance procedures across all campaign phases.
- Be fiscally responsible to senior executives for revenue and group expenditures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Comprehensive understanding of programmatic digital media planning and buying.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with a proactive approach to driving change through structured testing and learning.
- Ability to organize and manage detailed tasks independently while balancing multiple responsibilities.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in integrated marketing agencies managing various programmatic media buying channels.
- At least 3 years of experience in people management, overseeing a team in account management or client services.
- Thorough knowledge of programmatic technology, including the DSP marketplace, planning tools, best practices, and ad networks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
