Job Title: Registered Nurse - Gastroenterology

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Gastroenterology department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a focus on gastroenterology. You will be responsible for coordinating patient care, administering medications, and providing education to patients and their families. You will also be expected to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient care in collaboration with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Administer medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse from any state.
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a clinical nurse in a medical/surgical, critical care inpatient, or emergency department setting.
  • Experience providing moderate sedation with recovery.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
