Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor and Delivery nursing and be able to work effectively in a team-based setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as codes and rapid response teams.
  • Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Nevada.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
  • AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification.
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.
