Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a V/VIP Aircraft Interiors Technician to join our esteemed partner in the industry, recognized for their exceptional VIP/VVIP interior completions for large aircraft, including B737 and A320 models, as well as larger Boeing and Airbus aircraft. This organization excels in the design, manufacturing, and delivery of aerospace products and services on a global scale, focusing on design excellence and superior quality for private clients, government officials, and corporate entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections, removals, repairs, and installations of aircraft interior components, such as doors, galleys, seats, bulkheads, flooring, emergency lighting, and lavatories.
  • Familiarize yourself with and adhere to the standards outlined in the RSQM, Federal Aviation Regulations, Airworthiness Directives, Advisory Circulars, and relevant service bulletins before commencing any maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, implementing regulations and practices to prevent accidents and ensuring excellent housekeeping standards.
  • Properly tag and store aircraft components, parts, and panels, ensuring organization by aircraft type.
  • Follow documentation procedures and sign-offs in accordance with the Repair Station Manual and task requirements.
  • Utilize tools and equipment safely to minimize wear and tear, returning all tools and ground support equipment to their designated storage areas after use.
  • Continuously seek process improvements and enhance efficiency while prioritizing safety.
  • Engage with customers in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Deliver the highest quality service and safety standards, aiming to exceed customer satisfaction through timely delivery of airworthy and clean aircraft.
  • Participate in any required training as determined by the organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience on current fleet types.
  • At least 5 years of experience in VVIP aircraft interior installations.
  • Proficient in both oral and written English.
  • Possession of a valid FAA Mechanic certificate with an Airframe rating or qualifications for a Repairman's Certificate.
  • Able to perform intermediate to major aircraft maintenance tasks independently.
  • Comprehend the design and operation of installed aircraft structures for effective troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Skilled in reading and applying FAA-approved data proficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Dependable, responsible, and timely in completing tasks accurately.
  • Motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Detail-oriented and well-prepared for all tasks.
