Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled V/VIP Aircraft Interiors Technician to join our esteemed partner in the aerospace industry. This organization is renowned for its exceptional VIP/VVIP interior completions for a variety of large aircraft, including B737 and A320 models, as well as larger Boeing and Airbus aircraft. They are committed to delivering superior quality products and services to a diverse clientele, including private entities and government officials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, removals, repairs, and installations of aircraft interior components such as doors, galleys, seats, bulkheads, and lavatories.
- Adhere to the requirements of the Repair Station Quality Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, and other relevant guidelines to ensure compliance and safety.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing safety regulations and best practices to prevent accidents.
- Accurately tag and store aircraft components and parts, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Complete documentation procedures and sign-offs in accordance with the Repair Station Manual and task requirements.
- Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively, ensuring they are returned to their designated storage areas after use.
- Continuously seek process improvements and enhance efficiency while prioritizing safety.
- Engage with clients in a professional and respectful manner, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training and development as required by the company.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience on current fleet types.
- At least 5 years of experience in VVIP aircraft interior installation.
- Proficient in both oral and written English.
- Valid FAA Mechanic certificate with an Airframe rating or equivalent qualifications.
- Able to independently perform intermediate to major aircraft maintenance tasks.
- Strong understanding of aircraft structures for effective troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret FAA-approved documentation proficiently.
- Demonstrated capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Effective decision-making and organizational skills.
- Dependable and motivated with a positive attitude.
- Detail-oriented and well-prepared for tasks.
