Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a V/VIP Aircraft Interiors Technician to join our esteemed partner located in a prime area known for its excellence in VIP/VVIP interior completions for large aircraft, including B737 and A320 models, as well as larger Boeing and Airbus aircraft. This organization is recognized globally for its expertise in designing, manufacturing, and providing top-tier aerospace products and services. Their mission is centered around achieving design superiority and delivering high-quality products to private clients, government officials, and corporate leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, removals, repairs, and installations of aircraft interior components, such as doors, galleys, seats, bulkheads, floorboards, emergency lighting, and lavatories.
- Familiarize yourself with and adhere to the guidelines outlined in the RSQM, Federal Aviation Regulations, Airworthiness Directives, Advisory Circulars, and manufacturer service bulletins to ensure compliance and safety.
- Maintain a work environment that meets the highest safety standards, consistently enforcing regulations to prevent accidents and ensuring cleanliness.
- Properly tag and store aircraft components, parts, and panels, ensuring they are organized by aircraft.
- Document procedures and sign-offs in accordance with the Repair Station Manual and specific task requirements.
- Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively, returning them to their designated storage areas after use.
- Continuously seek process improvements and enhance efficiency while prioritizing safety.
- Engage with clients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Deliver exceptional service and uphold safety standards, aiming to exceed client satisfaction through the timely re-delivery of airworthy and pristine aircraft.
- Participate in mandatory training as required by the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience on current fleet types.
- At least 5 years of experience in VVIP aircraft interior installations.
- Proficient in both oral and written English.
- Possess a valid FAA Mechanic certificate with an Airframe rating or meet the qualifications for a Repairman's Certificate.
- Able to perform intermediate to heavy aircraft maintenance tasks independently.
- Comprehend the design and operation of installed aircraft structures for effective troubleshooting and repairs.
- Skilled in reading and applying FAA-approved data (e.g., IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM).
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong decision-making capabilities.
- Dependable and responsible, completing tasks accurately and on time.
- Motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
