The Senior Inventory Control Specialist is tasked with ensuring that all tools are properly accounted for, readily accessible, and maintained in optimal condition, thereby protecting the investment in construction resources.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of inventory management practices, maintenance tools, and equipment
- Familiarity with terminology used in construction and maintenance
- Experience with procurement, requisitioning, and receiving processes
The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, a keen attention to detail, and the capability to operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts. This position may require lifting of items weighing up to 75 lbs and working in diverse environments.
Additional Considerations:
Preferred qualifications include holding a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A endorsement, experience in inventory management systems, and certification as a forklift operator.
