Storekeeper Senior

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for managing all aspects of inventory and control of construction-related tools, keys, and equipment within the Corrections Construction Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory control, warehouse operations, and construction equipment management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records of construction tools, keys, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with established inventory control procedures and protocols.
• Coordinate with the Corrections Construction Unit to ensure timely delivery of tools and equipment.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of inventory.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, and construction equipment management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and ability to use computer databases and inventory control systems.
• Ability to lift items up to 75 pounds and work in both inside and outside environments.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A endorsement preferred.

Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with daily institutional inmate presence. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
