About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at Metro Paws Animal Hospital in Dallas. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to work with animals and their owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Description:

  • Job Summary: Provide top-notch patient care and exceptional customer service as a member of our veterinary team.
  • Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide expert animal care and handling, including restraint, medication administration, and digital radiology.

• Work closely with veterinarians and receptionists to ensure seamless client and patient experiences.

• Develop and maintain accurate medical records and assist with administrative tasks.

• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ year of small animal tech experience (current coursework may replace); RVT, LVT, CVT, or Pre-Vet preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, and confidence in working autonomously.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced, dynamic animal hospital setting with exposure to infection or contagious diseases.
