Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Coordinator to join our team in Eastern Pennsylvania. As a key member of our Electric Services Construction Coordinator Program, you will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating construction activities for designated projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and report any safety incidents or compliance issues to the client's construction manager and Orbital supervisor.
  • Participate in construction activity planning, pre-construction drawing reviews, and constructability reviews to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Inspect construction sites, complete pre-construction checklist tasks, and ensure necessary permits and site-specific plans are in place.
  • Manage communication with construction crews, client project managers, and engineering teams to resolve queries and ensure project progress.
  • Identify field-purchased material needs, communicate with the client Construction Manager, and coordinate deliveries to prevent delays.
  • Prepare Daily Log Reports to track project progression, highlight safety incidents, and monitor compliance with specifications and drawings.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of relevant construction or maintenance experience
  • Ability to pass a post-offer drug and alcohol test and comply with Federal regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field
  • Experience in commercial or industrial T&D or management
  • OSHA 10 hour and MEA specific training
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competency in basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
