Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on automated equipment, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance, focusing on safety and efficiency, particularly in a food manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on automated equipment.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance calls, fully prepared to make necessary repairs.
  • Be visible and readily available on the plant floor to assist other departments as needed.
  • Complete preventative and predictive maintenance tasks during operations and scheduled shutdowns.
  • Maintain a safe working environment in both the maintenance shop and on the plant floor.
  • Adhere to food safety standards, ensuring attention to detail when working on equipment or near the product.
  • Provide and maintain personal hand tools, including wrench sets, pliers, socket sets, hammers, and punches.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
