Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the Senior Citizen Center, ensuring compliance with AAA guidelines.
  • Plan and implement social activities that promote engagement and well-being among our participants.
  • Coordinate transportation services for all participants, ensuring their safe and timely arrival and departure.
  • Oversee the Home Delivered Meal Program and Congregate Meal Program, ensuring they operate in accordance with AAA guidelines.
  • Supervise and train all SAC staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed daily for services billing purposes.
  • Coordinate building and vehicle maintenance, ensuring our facilities and equipment are in good working order.
  • Develop and implement fund-raising strategies to support our programs and services.
  • Participate in annual budget planning, ensuring our financial resources are allocated effectively.
  • Monitor and report on site performance, ensuring we remain within budget and meet our unit levels.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed, maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  • Conduct outreach activities and community awareness campaigns to promote our services and engage with the community.
  • Coordinate training for staff and participants, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Assist the head cook in ordering food and preparing meals, ensuring our participants receive nutritious and delicious meals.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred; one to three years' experience and/or training in a related field.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and customer service.
Work Environment:

The work environment is moderate, with occasional noise and distractions. This is a safety-sensitive position, and all employees are expected to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
