We are currently seeking candidates for a Lead Electrical Technician position with Tradeco of Chicago. This role is a Direct-Hire opportunity.

Experience in Commercial, Institutional, Industrial, and some Multi-Family Residential projects is essential.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Lead or Working Lead role
  • Proficiency in utilizing the NEC Code book, blueprints, specifications, and local AHJ CODES.
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing plans through critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to challenges and fulfill commitments.
  • Capability to work independently while holding team members accountable.
  • Demonstrated leadership by example, mentoring promising Project Managers and Journeymen to advance their careers.
  • Experience in executing projects from inception to completion, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Commitment to maintaining all necessary tools, information, manpower, and materials at all times.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with Trade Partners, Owners, and team members while assessing site progress and conditions.
  • Familiarity with HR systems for submitting paperwork, such as Paycom or Paycor.
  • A strong focus on safety, adhering to all quality and safety standards.
