Electrical Equipment Technician

As an Electrical Equipment Technician, you will be part of a safety-focused team that is dedicated to building a career in a dynamic environment.
You will work on critical performance areas, including inspecting, servicing, and maintaining locomotives, in accordance with federal and company regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting and maintaining locomotives to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Using test equipment, lubrication equipment, and other vehicle repair tools and equipment to diagnose and repair issues.
- Preparing inspection, maintenance, and work reports, and recording details on prescribed forms.
- Working shift work, including irregular hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
Requirements include:
- Valid CDL for the class and type of equipment operated.
- Ability to certify company equipment in accordance with state standards.
- Basic computer skills.
- Automotive or diesel electrician experience and/or electrician diploma/apprenticeship.
