Operations Analyst

Location: Hybrid position with required travel for onsite collaboration.

Position Overview:

We are in search of an Operations Analyst tasked with monitoring and evaluating key performance metrics of clinical initiatives, utilizing data to enhance these programs. This role involves supporting clinical leaders through thorough research, stakeholder interviews, data collection and analysis, workflow design and optimization, and the implementation of operational enhancements, all aimed at streamlining clinical programs. We seek an individual who demonstrates professionalism, a commitment to innovation, and a collaborative, strategic, and hands-on business approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to refine clinical programs in line with strategic objectives.
  • Establish a systematic approach to clinical program assessment, analysis, and enhancement.
  • Lead the improvement initiatives for clinical programs, including research, analysis, structuring, outlining, presenting, and executing operational enhancements.
  • Coordinate operational modifications with program and business stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
  • Implement a comprehensive work plan to drive process improvements across a portfolio of programs.
  • Partner closely with the Summit Consulting Team to identify and communicate key insights and opportunities related to clinical program advancement.
  • Support Summit's mission to deliver value at every partner interaction.
  • Assist Summit leadership in documenting processes to establish repeatable and scalable programs and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in an analytical or operational capacity within a healthcare environment.
  • Experience working directly with clinical leaders and/or managing clinical programs is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and data warehouses.
  • Familiarity with SQL is advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong inclination for identifying process enhancements and a passion for operational efficiency.
  • Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written) with the capability to produce clear and concise documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and work autonomously while also thriving in a team setting.
  • Effective communicator who can engage and influence senior management teams during meetings.
  • Self-motivated individual who excels in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
