This is a 1099 position for an independent contractor with a commitment of one year and two months as a site safety manager in Massachusetts. As a representative of a top Structural Steel Erection Company, you will ensure a safe working environment on the project. The project requires immediate commencement, and the pay rate is $45 per hour for straight time, time and a half for overtime (more than 40 hours), and double time for Sundays and major holidays worked.

Job Description

The role involves representing the company on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and guaranteeing a minimum 40-hour workweek. There may be additional work on Saturdays to compensate for any delays. The working hours are from Monday to Friday, 6:30am-3:30/4:00pm, and Saturdays, 6:30am-2:00pm.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess OSHA 30 or OSHA 500 certification, a minimum seven years of safety experience, and construction experience. Any additional certifications, such as CHST, CSSS, or CSST, are considered beneficial. Prior steel erection experience is also advantageous but not mandatory.
