Position Overview:
The Information Management Quality Control (QC) Analyst will leverage their analytical expertise to implement policies and procedures established by the client while conducting comprehensive second-tier evaluations across various review platforms, including declassification, research, records management, security assessments, and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, investigate, and provide final recommendations on both classified and unclassified records.
- Conduct a diverse range of information management evaluations (declassification, FOIA, research, records management, security assessments).
- Collaborate as a team member while also exercising independent judgment in document adjudication (independent research is also required).
- Maintain a thorough understanding of document markings and ensure proper handling.
- Demonstrate a strong grasp of classification, declassification, and FOIA exemption categories.
- Recognize actual and potential nuclear weapons and intelligence information within various document types.
- Apply appropriate review guidelines accurately.
- Implement effective records management techniques to uphold the integrity of reviewed materials.
- Research information and pose questions to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Engage with government clients as necessary.
- Utilize professional experience in areas such as intelligence, military, operational security, or foreign affairs training in job execution.
- Lead and coordinate training for new analysts.
- Plan work, mentor, and provide consistent feedback to junior and information management analysts.
- Conduct reinforcement training for junior and information management analysts.
- May be tasked with leading small, temporary teams.
- Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in History, Political Science, International Affairs, Security Studies, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; or 3-5 years of direct experience in declassification, research, FOIA, public policy, intelligence, military weapons systems, or records management/museum experience may be considered as a substitute.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: collaborative work environments, independent work under minimal supervision, and adaptability in dynamic settings.

Skills Required:
- Strong oral and written communication skills; proficiency in word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills with attention to detail are essential.

Work Environment:
- Typical office setting with no unusual hazards; occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds; constant sitting at a desk; frequent use of visual abilities while reviewing documents; regular communication requiring speech/hearing abilities; consistent mental alertness; and the ability to plan and organize effectively while meeting deadlines.
