Executive Chef

We are seeking a skilled Cook II to join our team at Moxy Boulder. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items in accordance with recipes and established standards
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring high-quality food and presentation
- Assist in menu planning and development to ensure consistency with company standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role; commercial kitchen experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including cooking methods and ingredient handling
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- Must pass background check and obtain necessary certifications (e.g., food handler's permit)
