Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cook II to join our team at Moxy Boulder. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with established recipes and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items in accordance with recipes and established standards
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring high-quality food and presentation
  • Assist in menu planning and development to ensure consistency with company standards

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role; commercial kitchen experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including cooking methods and ingredient handling
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Must pass background check and obtain necessary certifications (e.g., food handler's permit)
