Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of care under the supervision of the Hospitalist, nurse practitioner, and Registered nurse.
- Support the ongoing operational needs of the program, clinical and non-clinical.
- Greets patients/visitors courteously and professionally, demonstrating ongoing commitment to customer service excellence.
- Verifies all patient information following the Stamford hospital patient identification policy.
- Prepares patients for POP visits by accompanying them to the exam room, obtaining vital signs, and height/weight.
- Performs specimen collection as required for tests ordered, ensuring all specimens are properly labeled and handled in accordance with laboratory department guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with established standards of care.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certified from a CNA program or in a Nursing program or equivalent.
- Heart Saver certification within one year of hire.
