About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Desktop Manager to join our team at Maricopa County, AZ. As a key member of our Enterprise Technology department, you will play a critical role in enhancing the end-user experience across our diverse agencies and departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management and optimization of desktop equipment and services to ensure our IT infrastructure supports the needs of our organization.
  • Lead strategic and operational planning for the team, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiently allocating resources to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Develop, publish, and analyze metrics from the service management system, tracking service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other IT groups and departments to ensure seamless service quality and delivery, acting as a key partner in integrating and coordinating IT efforts across the organization.
Requirements
  • Five years of experience administering, configuring, managing, installing, and troubleshooting enterprise-level environments, including two years of experience supervising a technical support team.
  • Technical experience working with Active Directory (AD) and enterprise endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft InTune/SCCM, Workspace1, Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Services, and Endpoint encryption services.
  • Experience working with virtual desktop solutions (VMware Horizon) and managing hardware and software inventory.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer information systems, or a closely related technology field.
