Momentum Academy STL seeks a highly skilled and experienced Academic Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Academic Leader will play a critical role in driving academic excellence and character development for our scholars.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in educational leadership, with a strong ability to lead and grow high-performing teams. They will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, programs, and curriculum activities that promote the educational development of each scholar and staff member.
The Academic Leader will work closely with senior leadership, parents, and community partners to build meaningful relationships that enhance the school's success. They will also be responsible for managing the budget, identifying and hiring new staff, and ensuring consistent school schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies, programs, and curriculum activities that promote academic excellence and character development
- Lead and grow high-performing teams to achieve academic goals
- Manage the budget and ensure financial sustainability
- Identify and hire new staff to support academic growth
- Ensure consistent school schedules and compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Master's degree from an accredited university/college
- Administrative endorsement preferred
- Minimum of five years in education
- Successful educational leadership experience with a proven track record of success
- Business expertise related to compliance reporting, educational legal obligations, and general business operations
