Executive Sales Director of Special Education Solutions

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as an Executive Sales Director of Special Education Solutions. This role will be responsible for driving new business relationships and expanding existing partnerships with a focus on providing innovative solutions for special education.
About the Role
The successful candidate will own the sales cycle for assigned territory, from target and prospect identification through to contract close. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and develop a sales plan targeting attractive prospects to achieve revenue and profit goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the IDC sales cycle for assigned territory, from target and prospect identification through to contract close.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales Operations, Marketing, and in-house Proposals Team to ensure seamless operations.
- Prospect Identification and Attraction: Identify and attract targets and prospects for IDC sales. Generate leads via targeted marketing campaigns, current customer referrals, and relevant conferences.
- Sales Planning and Oversight: Develop and oversee a sales plan targeting attractive prospects to achieve revenue and profit goals.
- Proposal Development Leadership: Collaborate with the in-house proposals team to lead the development of sales proposals.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with Special Education directors, district leaders, school board members, community leaders, and other influential constituents.
- Key Account Strategy Implementation: Implement key account strategies to drive new and expansion business.
- Strategic Planning: Participate in regular planning and strategy meetings focused on growth efforts.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need at least eight years of related sales experience with K-12 solution and service-based models. You should have a deep understanding of K-12/Special Education buying cycles and a proven track record of meeting sales targets in K-12 industries. Familiarity with CRM and pipeline management is also required. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and organizational skills are essential for this position.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, plus commission structure and benefits package.
