Strategic Educational Leader

Momentum Academy STL seeks a highly skilled and experienced Principal to lead our high-performing school. As a strategic educational leader, you will be responsible for guiding our scholars to reach their full potential and developing a culture of academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a world-class educational model that ensures strong academic gains and character development for every scholar.
- Conceptualize and plan the goals of the school, ensuring procedures and schedules are implemented effectively.
- Identify and hire new staff, including teachers, operations, and support staff, to ensure a high-performing team.
- Take charge of scholar recruitment and ensure the school is enrolled at capacity for the academic year.
- Manage the budget and contribute to the creation of a multi-year budget model.
- Identify and implement annual objectives for the instructional, extracurricular, and athletic programs of the school.
- Act as a catalyst for efficient, accurate, and transparent business models, including accounting, financing, purchasing, facilities management, technology, reporting, compliance, scholar recruitment, safety, food, and transportation services.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
- Master's degree from an accredited university/college.
- Administrative endorsement preferred.
- Minimum of five years in education.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Successful educational leadership experience with the demonstrated ability to lead and grow a high-performing team.
- Business expertise related to compliance reporting, educational legal obligations, and general business operations.
- Track record of success and proven results of driving student achievement.
- Experience working with students and families in low-income communities.
- Keen quantitative analytic, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to simultaneously lead multiple complicated and intense projects.
- Exceptional MS Excel skills and strong skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
