Clinical Patient Support Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Patient Support Representative to join our team at United Urology Group. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and seamless operation of our offices.
Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-organized, and maintain infection control standards.
- Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately, and administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis, and maintain accurate records.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting patients and visitors warmly and professionally, and addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
- Schedule appointments and assist with the scheduling of any additional testing directed by the physician, and verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing questions.
- Collect payments at time of check-in, and review patient demographics, ensuring all data has been recorded, verified accuracy, and entered into Practice Management and EHR.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of five (5) years front office and clinical experience, preferably in Urology.
- Proficient knowledge of Medical Terminology, ICD-10, and CPT-4 Codes.
