Naval Acquisition Program Analyst

About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to work with Navy leadership and stakeholders to provide acquisition, program management, and logistical and financial management support to key Navy program offices. As a Naval Acquisition Program Analyst, you will have the opportunity to apply your leadership skills and technical expertise to facilitate the development of innovative solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development of acquisition and program management strategies and plans for Navy programs
  • Provide analytical and reporting support to Navy leadership and stakeholders
  • Assist in the development of budget requirements, POM PRR, and tracking funding line items and expenditures
  • Support the preparation of pre-award RFP documents for Navy systems, including Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Employ Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) tools and Agile methodologies
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience with program or project management supporting a DoD organization
  • Experience with analyzing DoD acquisition policies, procedures, and life cycles
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with NAVSEA, including providing program management and financial management support to U.S. Navy ACAT I and II programs
  • Experience with DoD budget requirements, POM PRR, and tracking funding line items and expenditures, including RDT&E, OPN, and OMN
  • Experience with DoD or Navy contracting procedures and regulations
  • Master's degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
