Maintenance Technician

Midwood EMS is seeking a skilled Maintenance Employee to join our team in Brooklyn. As a key member of our Maintenance Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring our office space, garage, vehicles, and equipment are clean, orderly, and functional.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain office space, garage, vehicles, and equipment
- Perform general cleaning and minor maintenance duties
- Provide assistance to staff and other employees as needed
- Operate hand tools and power tools for minor maintenance repairs
- Assist in shipping and receiving supplies and materials
- Check building and grounds throughout the day
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions
- Ability to relate to supervisors and staff in a courteous manner
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 15-25 pounds
- Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions
