Job Summary

The Detroit Medical Center (DMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely communication.
  • Participate in shared decision-making and contribute to the development of unit-based policies and procedures.
  • Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of nursing required.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required.
