Job Summary

The DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team on a part-time basis. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to expectant mothers and their families, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and providing emotional support.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in labor and delivery care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program required.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
  • BSN preferred.
