Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Full Time Days

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the Patient Care Services Team at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Delegate tasks and supervise nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
- Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge, ensuring a smooth transition to postpartum care.
- Participate in shared decision-making activities and report directly to senior unit management.
- Graduation from a school of nursing required.
- BSN preferred.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required.
