We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at DMC Harper University/Hutzel Women's Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery is responsible for providing direct patient care to women in labor and postpartum. This includes assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to women in labor and postpartum
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure best possible outcomes
  • Delegate tasks to other team members as needed
  • Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a current RN license in the state of Michigan and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. A BSN degree is preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification is also required.
