We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Grant Specialist to join our team at Creative Financial Staffing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying grant opportunities, preparing and submitting grant proposals, and managing the entire grant lifecycle from application to post-award compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify grant opportunities that align with the organization's objectives and strategic goals.
- Develop and write compelling grant proposals, ensuring alignment with funders' requirements and organizational needs, and leveraging expertise in grant writing and management.
- Prepare grant budgets, collaborating with finance and program teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and guidelines.
- Manage the grant submission process, including tracking deadlines and following up with funders as needed to ensure timely and successful grant awards.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all grant-related requirements, including reporting, financial tracking, and deliverables, and maintaining accurate records of all grant activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary information and documentation for grant proposals and reports, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
- Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in grant writing and management, and applying this knowledge to improve grant outcomes and organizational performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as communications, public administration, business, or accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing, grant management, or a related field, with a proven track record of securing and managing grants from a variety of funders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write compelling grant proposals and reports, and communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, grant management software, and financial tracking tools, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
- Knowledge of federal and state grant regulations is a plus, and the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure compliance and successful grant outcomes.
