Communications Specialist

About the Role:
Boston Metal is seeking a skilled Communications Coordinator to support the growth of our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing effective communications strategies across various channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute communications campaigns to engage our target audience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and publish content on our website, social media, and other channels.
- Manage our publishing calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.
- Assist with monitoring our online presence and social media engagement.
- Provide communications support for company-wide meetings and events.
- Develop and maintain our DAM system to ensure efficient content management.
- Perform other communications-related tasks as needed.
Requirements and Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Experience with graphic design, website management, and social media marketing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in SharePoint, Office 365, and email distribution best practices.
- Familiarity with media monitoring platforms and experience building tailored searches.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical language and concepts to create clear content.
- General understanding of data privacy principles and tools.
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
