Job Summary
The East Brooklyn Community High School Support Staff will provide administrative support to the school community, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate appointments and maintain a school calendar to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
- Assist with student referrals to external resources, including employment, emergency shelter, daycare, health services, and additional social services, to provide comprehensive support.
- Collaborate with the school team, participating in staff meetings, retreats, and staff development, to foster a supportive environment for student progress.
- Interface with DOE staff to maintain accurate student attendance records, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Update payroll records on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
- Develop and manage a system for ordering supplies, school recruitment materials, and other necessary items, to maintain a well-stocked and organized environment.
- Establish and maintain relationships between employees working in key offices at SCO, promoting a culture of collaboration and communication.
- Perform other duties as required, to support the school community and ensure the success of students.
